Meet Julia

I am a photographer/videographer. I am an artist using two mediums to tell your story in one cohesive style and narrative. With me, you don’t have to choose between photo and video. You get it all. Photography/videography is an avenue for seeing things in a new light. For remembering the details. For capturing connection. For witnessing life’s important moments. For telling a story. My photography/videography style is a combination of candid documentary style and gently guided or prompted. I feel that with gentle prompts, we can create moments of connection that feel authentic and natural but that don’t feel posed.

I am an Idaho girlie and I care deeply about this land and the community. I’m a Leave No Trace girlie, an Acknowledge Native Land girlie, an LGBTQ+ affirming girlie, and an All Are Welcome Here girlie.

I am bilingual and speak English and Spanish. I have spent the last 10 years learning and expanding my linguistic and cultural knowledge so that I can better serve the Spanish speaking and bilingual community. I want you and any members of your blood and chosen family to feel connected regardless of what language they speak.

I am an ordained officiant and if you choose to elope, I can offer officiant services at your ceremony in both Spanish and English.

I am a traveler. I have learned so much about myself and the world from exploring corners that looks nothing like the one I come from.

I offer payment plans for all packages because I want my services to be accessible to everyone.

I am also a multifacetedhumanbeing. I recognize that you and your story are too. So that’s always where we begin and where we return. Human centered care and connection. Experiences and photo/video that reflects it.
